“The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our PEI day with Sonya. Since a couple of us had already been there, Sonya was wonderful about adjusting the tour for us. We loved the Dunes Gardens and were in awe at the beauty and serenity of the gardens. Our short stop at Green Gables gave us time to take it all in and grab a few pictures. We stopped at the red cliffs and wandered around North Rustico for a few minutes enjoying the beauty in every direction. Sonya was very knowledgeable about PEI and we loved the little facts she shared throughout the day. Our drive though Charlottetown on our way back to the ship was a perfect way to end our day.”

A true local with ties to everything from raising chickens to lobster fishing, she gave us a great overview of Charlottetown. None of us were Anne of Green Gables fans, but she helped us appreciate the significance of the books to the Island. Our favorite part of the tour was learning about mussel farming, along with seeing the beautiful northern beaches and stopping at COWS Creamery.
